VISIT US
We look forward to warmly welcoming you.
Location
Saunaday is centrally located on the corner of Williamson and Blount Streets in downtown Madison, along the Capital City Trail bike path and one block off Lake Monona.
315 S. Blount Street
Madison, WI 53703
Please Note the South Blount Street address, located across from the Elks Club on Lake Monona. When mapping to our location, we recommend using Google Maps (Apple Maps is still inaccurately routing to North Blount Street.)
Parking
We have complimentary reserved parking available just across Blount Street. The lot can be a bit deceiving—despite the “wrong way” sign at the entrance, you’re in the right place. Stay to the left and look for Saunaday parking signs to guide you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Rest assured: this is a new experience for everyone, and our team is prepared to guide you seamlessly through every step of the way. Please see below for some frequently asked questions, and feel free to reach out for additional needs.
-
A swimsuit and water bottle. It’s that simple. Some guests like to also bring the following optional items: something to read (we’re tech free), hair tie, hair brush, robe or favorite towel (if that makes you more comfortable), and a friend. To ensure a clean environment for all, shoes are not allowed in The Bathhouse or Private Suites—grippy water socks will be available for purchase if needed. Please check with our retail space and front desk for anything else you might need.
-
Our Bathhouse and Private Suites include two towels (we recommend one for bathhouse use and one for drying off afterwards), filtered water, combination lockers, shower products, and hair dryers. Amenities in our Bathhouse include two traditional Finnish saunas, cedar salt scrub showers, cold plunge, and steam sauna. Amenities in our Private Suites include your own personal Finnish sauna, ice bath, rainfall shower, red light panels, and lounge. The Hinoki Hot Soaks and Infrared Sauna are not included in the above; however, can be added-on to either a Bathhouse or Private Suite experience.
-
Swimwear Required: Clean, appropriate swimwear for a communal setting is required in the bathhouse.
Coverage: For the comfort of all guests, overly revealing and thong-style swimwear is not permitted.
Hair: Guests with long hair are asked to tie it back; complimentary hair ties are available at the front desk.
Footwear: To keep the bathhouse environment clean, personal shoes are not permitted. Slip-resistant water socks are provided for your visit — borrow a pair or purchase your own at the front desk.
Comfort Items: You’re welcome to bring your favorite towel or robe for extra ease and comfort.
After Your Session: We recommend loose, comfortable clothing to extend your relaxation.

We are happy to offer our guests free, reserved parking across Blount Street (behind the former Little Red Caboose daycare). Please observe the Saunaday parking signs, and limit your time parked to the duration your bathhouse visit. During busy sessions, particularly, weekend and evenings, there is also parking available at the MG&E parking lot a ½ block north of Saunaday.
-
If it’s your first visit and you would like a tour, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled session. For all other guests, please check-in at the time you reserved to ensure a comfortable capacity for all guests.
-
Reservations are recommended, but not required. We will reserve a few walk-in spots for every session, to help support anyone in need of a last-minute Saunaday.
-
Saunaday was designed with groups in mind. Our booking process allows for group scheduling, and our Private Suites can be booked individually or together to allow for larger groups. For groups larger than 5, we recommend booking one of our Private Suites to ensure maximum comfort of our guests. For full buyouts of the space and events, please contact us at hello@sauna.day
-
Saunaday does not offer massage services or other one-on-one treatments. That said, if this is something that interests you, keep an eye out for pop-up massage and facial events in the future.
-
A few simple things make your Saunaday session more enjoyable for everyone. First, please shower at the start of your ritual and each time before dipping into the cold plunge to ensure the cleanest environment for all.
Enter and exit all saunas quickly to minimize heat loss, and ask fellow bathers before adding water to the sauna rocks. While using amenities, find a nearby hook for your towel (to avoid towels laying around the pool deck and chairs), and pat dry while moving between spaces. Water is a way of life in a bathhouse, but this can help us maintain our environment for all.
Finally, we don’t restrict conversations among friends outside of our quiet hours (weekdays before 11a), but please read the room and adjust the volume of your conversations accordingly to ensure a comfortable experience for all.

Saunaday is an 18+ experience. Guests 16+ may join only when booking a Private Suite and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. At this time, children under 16 are not permitted. We will explore dedicated family-friendly times in the future as our programming grows.
-
Sauna brain, we get it! If you forget to check-out, we will just automatically charge your card on file for the session fee. We reserve the right to charge an additional session for repeat offenders, or those that stay well past their reserved time. Don't want to leave? We don't blame you, inquire at the front desk for availability of the next session.

Tipping is always optional and very appreciated. Our team works hard to create a space that's welcoming, and restorative, and of course—clean.
