VISIT US
We look forward to warmly welcoming you.
First-Timers
If you’re new to the bathhouse, welcome. We know that stepping into a bathhouse for the first time might feel unfamiliar, so we’ve created a detailed step-by-step First-Timers Guide to help you feel comfortable and prepared (because some of us like to know before we go ;)
Reserved Parking
We have complimentary reserved surface lot parking available just across South Blount Street. The lot can be a bit deceiving—despite the “wrong way” sign at the entrance, you’re in the right place. Stay to the left and look for Saunaday parking signs to guide you.
If Saunaday parking is full, overflow parking is available across Blount Street, just over the railroad tracks, in the MG&E Employee parking after 6PM on weekdays and anytime on weekends.

A swimsuit and water bottle, and whatever you need to get ready post-Saunaday (think loose fitting clothing, fresh underwear and socks, brush and toiletries).
Some guests like to also bring the following optional items: a book or journal (we’re tech free), a robe or favorite towel (we provide 2 towels and unlimited sauna towels), and something to tie your hair back (preferably metal-free).
To ensure a clean environment for all, personal shoes are not allowed in The Bathhouse or Private Suites—grippy water socks are available at the front desk.
-
Our Bathhouse and Private Suites include two towels per guest (we recommend one for bathhouse use and one for drying off afterwards), filtered water, combination lockers, shower products, and hair dryers. Amenities in our Bathhouse include two traditional Finnish saunas, cedar salt scrub showers, cold plunge, and steam sauna. Amenities in our Private Suites include your own personal Finnish sauna, ice bath, rainfall shower, red light panels, and lounge. The Hinoki Hot Soaks and Infrared Sauna are not included in the above; however, can be added-on to either a Bathhouse or Private Suite experience.
-
Swimwear Required: Clean, appropriate swimwear for a communal setting is required in the bathhouse.

We are happy to offer our guests free, reserved parking on the surface lot across Blount Street. Please observe the Saunaday parking signs, and limit your time parked to the duration your bathhouse visit. During busy sessions, there is also free parking available at the MG&E employee parking lot a ½ block north on Blount Street after 6p on weekdays and on weekends.
-
Please plan to check in at your reserved time to help us maintain a comfortable capacity for all guests. If you arrive early, we’ll do our best to accommodate an earlier check-in when space allows; otherwise, you may be asked to wait until your scheduled time.
-
Reservations are recommended, but not required. Please note that walk-ins may be limited on evenings and weekends based on capacity.

Saunaday was designed with groups in mind.
If you’re planning for more than five people—or booking multiple service types at one time (for example, Hinoki + Private Suite)—please reach out to us by phone/text (608) 460-6435 or at hello@sauna.day so we can help coordinate your visit and ensure accurate availability.
-
Saunaday does not offer massage services or other one-on-one treatments.
-
A few simple things make your Saunaday session more enjoyable for everyone. First, please shower at the start of your ritual and each time before dipping into the cold plunge to ensure the cleanest environment for all.
Enter and exit all saunas quickly to minimize heat loss, and ask fellow bathers before adding water to the sauna rocks. While using amenities, find a nearby hook for your towel (to avoid towels laying around the pool deck and chairs), and pat dry while moving between spaces. Water is a way of life in a bathhouse, but this can help us maintain our environment for all.
Finally, we don’t restrict conversations among friends outside of our quiet hours (weekdays before 11a), but please read the room and adjust the volume of your conversations accordingly to ensure a comfortable experience for all.

Saunaday is an 18+ experience. Guests 16+ may join only when booking a Private Suite and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. At this time, children under 16 are not permitted. We will explore dedicated family-friendly times in the future as our programming grows.

Sauna brain—we get it. 🤍
That said, check-out is an important part of your visit. It helps us keep track of who’s still in the bathhouse and manage session timing for everyone. If you forget to check out, we’ll automatically charge the card on file for your session. We reserve the right to charge an additional session for repeat missed check-outs or for guests who stay well past their reserved time.
Not ready to leave? We don’t blame you. Please stop by the front desk to check availability for the next session.
